Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-state routes
- Maintain precise delivery schedules while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route optimization
- Handle specialized freight including hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Utilize electronic logging systems for compliance tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical loading/unloading
- Familiarity with California and Ohio highway systems
- Hazmat/Tanker endorsements highly valued
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
