Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Implement strict student safety protocols during loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate attendance and route documentation
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and district policies
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri Commercial Driver's License (Class B with P/S endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate wheelchair lifts
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
