Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers within Newark and surrounding areas using the CityRide Connect app
- Maintain a 4.8+ driver rating through exceptional customer service
- Complete trips efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and keep vehicles clean at all times
- Optimize earnings by accepting high-demand ride requests during peak hours
- Participate in driver training programs to enhance service quality
- Track and report trip data accurately through the driver portal
Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 1 year of experience
- Smartphone with reliable data connection and GPS capability
- Pass background check and vehicle inspection requirements
- Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of Newark geography
- Professional communication and customer service aptitude
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends/nights
