Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport cargo to designated locations within the region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload freight carefully, ensuring proper securing of goods to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at each delivery point.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
