Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on various job sites.
- Load and unload materials (gravel, dirt, asphalt) efficiently and safely.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports as required by Department of Transportation regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Keep the cab and truck bed clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and operating machinery.
- Strong knowledge of local roadways and traffic patterns in South Texas.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting.
