Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Build strong relationships with key clients in the Jacksonville area
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years of OTR experience with dedicated routes preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
