Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes within Texas
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight efficiently with proper securing techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Document delivery receipts and resolve any shipment discrepancies
- Uphold strict safety standards and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to pass background check and pre-employment screening
