Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using provided dispatch software
- Build relationships with clients and ensure exceptional service
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Reliable box truck (2005 or newer, 26-28ft)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Anchorage metro area
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
