Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and ensure all paperwork is up to date.
- Practice safe loading and unloading techniques to protect cargo integrity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
