Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technical Roadmap: Architect a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's long-term business goals and market trends.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research and development in emerging technologies, including AI, edge computing, and advanced cloud architectures.
- Technical Governance: Establish and enforce best practices for software development, security, and system reliability across the organization.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and executives to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Evaluate and select external technology partners and vendors to drive strategic advantage.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Innovation Mindset: Demonstrated ability to identify and implement emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Quantum Computing) before they become mainstream.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Proven track record of delivering large-scale technical transformations on time and within budget.
