Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Vision: Define and execute the comprehensive technical strategy for the 2026 product release, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- System Architecture: Design resilient, scalable microservices architectures capable of handling high-throughput demands in a decentralized environment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Technology Stack: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, Edge IoT) into existing frameworks.
- Roadmap Management: Create detailed technical roadmaps, identifying risks and opportunities for the 2026 fiscal year.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to the highest standards of data security and regulatory compliance (SOC2, GDPR).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or lead architect role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and orchestration.
- Programming: Strong command of modern languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, with a focus on backend systems.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of driving technical strategy and influencing organizational direction.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered technical challenges.
