Responsibilities
- Delivery Operations: Perform safe and timely delivery of freight to customers along assigned routes, ensuring 100% on-time performance.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is mechanically sound and safe for operation.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, handle billing and receipts, and resolve any delivery concerns immediately.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload freight using proper handling equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or route delivery capacity.
- Record: Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and pass a background check.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong time management, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset.
