Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum circuits and algorithms using Qiskit and Cirq.
- Collaborate with hardware physicists to optimize qubit coherence and reduce error rates.
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for optimization and machine learning tasks.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking against state-of-the-art hardware.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum software projects.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quantum computing or a related niche technology.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or TensorFlow Quantum).
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum).
