Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity for commercial quantum processors
- Lead implementation of quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance qubit coherence times beyond 100ms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC/Cloud)
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum concepts into practical business solutions
- Security clearance or ability to obtain government-level clearance preferred
