Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and hardware engineers to improve qubit coherence and gate fidelity.
- Implement error mitigation and error correction strategies to enhance computational reliability.
- Pioneering novel quantum error-correcting codes tailored for future hardware architectures.
- Conduct rigorous theoretical analysis and simulation of quantum circuits using Python and C++.
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in the field of quantum information science.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Julia.
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks including Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex number systems.
- Proven track record of publishing research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences.
- Familiarity with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, Google Cloud).
