Job Description
At Nexus Horizon, we are building the operating system for the future. As we approach the pivotal year of 2026, we are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum AI Interface Designer to lead the design of next-generation human-computer interactions.
This is not a standard UX role. You will be at the intersection of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and spatial reality. You will design interfaces that feel less like software and more like an extension of the human mind. If you are passionate about shaping the cognitive landscape of tomorrow, we want to meet you.
Key Highlights:
- Impact: Directly influence how billions of users interact with the quantum web.
- Environment: Work in a futuristic, high-performance office in the heart of Austin's tech corridor.
- Tools: Access to top-tier hardware, including haptic feedback suits and neural link prototypes.
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype intuitive User Interfaces (UI) for spatial computing and neural-link devices.
- Collaborate with quantum engineers to visualize complex data streams and algorithms in real-time 3D environments.
- Establish and maintain the 'Nexus Design System' for all upcoming AR/VR and holographic products.
- Conduct rigorous usability testing to optimize for latency reduction and immersion depth.
- Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes using WebGL, Three.js, and Unity.
- Advocate for ethical AI design standards and user safety in emerging tech.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design, with a strong portfolio in AR/VR or futuristic interfaces.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, WebGL, Three.js, or Unity.
- Experience integrating AI-driven generative design tools into the creative workflow.
- Deep understanding of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles and cognitive psychology.
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into elegant, human-centric visual solutions.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to sell complex design concepts to engineering and executive leadership.
