Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services using Python and modern frameworks.
- Architect microservices and APIs that adhere to RESTful and GraphQL standards, ensuring optimal data flow and system integration.
- Lead code reviews and technical architecture discussions, mentoring junior developers to foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Optimize database queries and application performance, implementing caching strategies and asynchronous processing where necessary.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Ensure system reliability through comprehensive testing, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and incident response planning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithmic design.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis).
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP, and serverless architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues in distributed systems.
