Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics for Austin venues and surrounding areas, ensuring seamless operations for matchdays and training sessions.
- Coordinate directly with FIFA representatives, city officials, and venue managers to align operational timelines and protocols.
- Develop and execute detailed operational plans, including crowd control, transportation, and security measures.
- Manage cross-functional budgets and ensure cost-efficiency across all operational departments.
- Monitor safety and security standards to protect athletes, staff, and spectators.
- Lead crisis management protocols and contingency planning for high-pressure scenarios.
- Engage with local communities to promote the event and foster positive relationships.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale event management, sports operations, or infrastructure project leadership.
- Deep knowledge of FIFA World Cup protocols and international sporting regulations.
- Proven track record of managing complex cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent verbal and written communication).
- Strong ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments with tight deadlines.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation for major capital projects.
