Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable network architectures capable of handling massive data loads during tournament events.
- Oversee cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive fan data and broadcast feeds from sophisticated cyber threats.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure the timely delivery of critical IT hardware and software solutions.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize operational risk.
- Provide 24/7 technical support and on-site troubleshooting during the tournament phases.
- Lead a team of junior engineers and junior administrators, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or systems engineering.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects or events.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure and in time-sensitive scenarios.
- Ability to travel to host cities as required for event preparation.
