Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic narratives
- Produce quarterly 'Future State' reports with quantifiable impact assessments on emerging technologies
- Partner with R&D to identify disruptive innovations for portfolio expansion
- Design risk mitigation protocols for systemic disruptions (AI ethics, climate adaptation, etc.)
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, Causal Layered Analysis)
