Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic vision roadmap, integrating emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech) with market trends
- Lead scenario planning and horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop frameworks for evaluating exponential technologies and their business implications
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members with compelling data narratives
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team while fostering cross-departmental innovation
- Pioneer proprietary methodologies for trend analysis and future-state modeling
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in exponential technology assessment and market trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (white papers, books, keynotes)
- Mastery of scenario planning frameworks and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of global megatrends (demographics, climate, geopolitics)
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic recommendations
