As a key architect of our future, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities while mitigating existential risks. Your work will directly influence product roadmaps, investment strategies, and organizational resilience in an exponentially evolving landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework using advanced scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate future forecasts into actionable innovation strategies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers
- Present executive briefings on emerging tech disruptions and their business implications
- Design and implement organizational adaptation protocols for technological discontinuities
- Oversee the creation of Horizon Dynamics' annual Future State Report
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into business strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI governance, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Strong publication record in futurist journals or industry white papers
- Experience with Delphi methodology, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection
- Exceptional presentation skills for C-suite and board-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
