Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal changes impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models for long-term strategic planning across verticals
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through compelling visual narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts for continuous intelligence gathering
- Design innovation frameworks that translate foresight into R&D priorities and market-entry strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future-facing business models
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex insights into executive actions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futures-based projects with measurable business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/CFP) or equivalent professional designation
