Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable strategies
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations for C-suite stakeholders and external partners
- Identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential and assess market readiness
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conference speaking
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario development, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ forecasting projects or thought leadership
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Methodology (e.g., from University of Houston)
