Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop 10-year scenario plans for C-suite decision-making
- Identify emerging technologies with commercial viability potential
- Conduct stakeholder workshops to align future vision with organizational goals
- Produce white papers on disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Advise executive board on innovation portfolio allocation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology trends
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business impact
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling skills
- Experience with Delphi methods and trend analysis frameworks
- Published work in futurism or technology forecasting preferred
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
