Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for quantum computing applications
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives across biotechnology and clean energy sectors
- Facilitate innovation workshops with executive teams and external thought partners
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for stakeholder decision-making
- Guide R&D portfolio allocation based on future technology viability
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry forums
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate)
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurist or tech innovation publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology disruption
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFRI)
