In this pivotal position, you'll lead cross-functional teams in developing scenario-based frameworks, conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains, and deliver executive-level insights that drive multi-billion dollar decisions. You'll collaborate directly with C-suite executives at our Austin headquarters while influencing global innovation ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 10-year strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizations for 2026 market disruptions
- Conduct horizon scanning across exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Translate complex future trends into executable business strategies and innovation roadmaps
- Present executive-level insights to C-suite stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and domain experts
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging industry paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps for enterprise clients
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technology trends
