Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing 5-year innovation roadmaps for 2026
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts with strategic implications
- Design and pilot futuristic solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Present visionary frameworks to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for transformational projects
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks to assess future scenarios and market readiness
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of experimentation within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services with $10M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotechnology convergence trends
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Certification in scenario planning, strategic foresight, or innovation management
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
