Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing adoption, AI ethics governance, and climate resilience
- Interface with White House OSTP and WEF Future Councils to influence policy roadmaps
- Architect cross-industry innovation labs with Stanford, MIT, and Bosch
- Present quarterly foresight briefings to Fortune 100 board members
- Oversee patent strategy covering neural interfaces and decentralized identity systems
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and data scientists
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 8+ years applied foresight experience
- Published white papers on at least two 2026-relevant domains (e.g., AGI alignment, quantum bio-computing)
- Proven track record advising Fortune 50 executives on 5+ year strategic horizons
- Expertise in Delphi methodology, causal layered analysis, and computational social science
- Security clearance or equivalent for national technology strategy projects
- Fluency in Mandarin and Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ implemented future scenarios
