Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify emerging trends and technologies (2026 horizon)
- Develop innovation frameworks for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Collaborate with C-suite to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Manage cross-functional R&D labs focused on next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Publish thought leadership on disruption patterns and exponential opportunities
- Guide ethical AI development and responsible innovation governance
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging technology
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience with foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Portfolio of published future-focused research or patents
