Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic foresight framework using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Lead scenario planning workshops for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Produce trend briefings for executive leadership and board committees
- Architect innovation pipelines aligned with 5-year market evolution projections
- Partner with R&D to validate future-facing concepts through rapid prototyping
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional innovation teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trajectories (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi, PESTLE analysis)
- Portfolio of implemented future-oriented initiatives
