Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop innovation roadmaps integrating AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, and sustainable systems
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and WHO affiliates
- Author white papers on paradigm shifts in human-computer symbiosis
- Prototype AR/VR interfaces for immersive future scenario planning
- Advise C-suite on regulatory implications of quantum encryption adoption
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Complex Systems
- 10+ years experience in tech foresight or innovation strategy at Fortune 500
- Published research in Nature Futures or similar peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proficiency in Python for predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized future-focused initiatives
- Security clearance (TS/SCI) preferred
