Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop strategic 5-year innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable product development plans
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term corporate vision
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Manage a $5M innovation incubator fund for experimental projects
- Build and lead a high-performing team of futurists and research scientists
- Partner with venture capital firms to identify disruptive startups for strategic acquisitions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced R&D leadership
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants or investments
- Fluency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, etc.)
