Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps and scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise innovation initiatives
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagements to align future vision with current operations
- Produce high-impact research reports and predictive models for C-suite decision-making
- Champion cross-functional innovation projects bridging R&D, product development, and market strategy
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future trends into actionable business opportunities and risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFCS, CFP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or innovation frameworks
