Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and disruptive technologies to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop and maintain Horizon's 5-year innovation pipeline with actionable roadmaps
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for emerging technology incubation
- Establish KPIs to measure strategic foresight ROI and market impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products/services
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario modeling, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within Fortune 500 companies
