Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026+ markets
- Develop and publish annual Future State reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and long-term visioning
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused insights into development roadmaps
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
- Establish KPIs for measuring organizational adaptability and innovation maturity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience facilitating C-level strategic planning sessions with Fortune 500 clients
- Proficiency in futures research tools: Delphi method, horizon scanning, scenario modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
