Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic recommendations
- Produce high-impact trend reports and white papers on disruptive technologies and societal megatrends
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-ready strategies into corporate roadmaps
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Represent the organization at premier innovation conferences and futures research symposiums
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing new research methodologies for long-term forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, futures research, or innovation strategy leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published author or keynote speaker in futures research or innovation forums
- Experience building and managing global research networks and academic partnerships
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
