Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, society, and markets to identify 2026+ disruptors
- Develop and executive strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and risk assessment models
- Translate complex future projections into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, researchers, and industry pioneers
- Present future outlooks to boards and C-suite through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Oversee development of innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year strategic horizons
- Mentor junior futurists and drive thought leadership through whitepapers and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, futurism, or innovation strategy with proven C-suite impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional skills in data visualization, scenario modeling, and trend synthesis
- Track record of publishing influential foresight research or thought leadership
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategic positioning
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-shaping initiatives delivered
