Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive forces and emerging technologies impacting 2026 markets
- Develop quantitative and qualitative future scenarios using proprietary foresight frameworks
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through executive workshops and board presentations
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers for industry publications
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining cutting-edge research methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of professional experience in trend analysis, strategic planning, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record developing future scenarios for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP, CFP) preferred
