Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends and disruptors to forecast 2026+ technological, economic, and social paradigms
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise resilience and opportunity identification
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-proof solutions using exponential technologies
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven narratives
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author white papers on emerging risks and opportunities for 2026+ ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience working with government agencies on future-oriented policy development
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight implementations
