Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on regional and over-the-road routes.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with weight regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain a spotless safety record.
- Complete all necessary DOT and company paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in freight transportation.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are a strong plus.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
