Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy machinery for construction and material transport projects
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while meeting tight deadlines
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of deliveries and vehicle status
- Collaborate with site supervisors and logistics teams for seamless operations
- Train junior drivers on equipment operation and safety best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul equipment
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and fleet management systems
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
