Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Portland metro area.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care and arrive in perfect condition.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or physical signatures for proof of delivery.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery paperwork, ensuring 100% compliance with company and legal regulations.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues or concerns promptly.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs.
- Navigate effectively using GPS and map applications to optimize routes and minimize fuel consumption.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to use handheld delivery scanners.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
