Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards of safety and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and cargo securement procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and pass a drug screen.
