Responsibilities
- Architect Hybrid Intelligence Systems: Design and deploy scalable AI models that integrate seamlessly with quantum computing frameworks to solve complex optimization problems.
- Lead the 2026 Roadmap: Define the technical strategy and milestones for our 2026 transition, ensuring readiness for emerging standards in edge computing and neural networks.
- Optimize Neural Architectures: Lead research into transformer models and generative AI, optimizing them for low-latency environments and massive data throughput.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product leads and data scientists to translate abstract 2026 visions into concrete, executable technical roadmaps.
- Security & Ethics: Implement robust security protocols and ethical guidelines for AI deployment, ensuring responsible innovation.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong portfolio demonstrating advanced system architecture.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and experience with quantum computing libraries (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve high-complexity engineering challenges and adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Location: Must be willing to work in-person from our Austin, TX headquarters.
