Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune large-scale generative models (LLMs, diffusion models) using Python and deep learning frameworks.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Build scalable MLOps pipelines to manage model training, evaluation, and deployment (CI/CD) on cloud platforms.
- Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest academic research in NLP and Computer Vision, implementing novel techniques to improve model performance and accuracy.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership to junior engineers, conducting rigorous code reviews and mentoring team members on best practices.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize model inference latency and cost-efficiency to ensure seamless user experiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or machine learning.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, and experience with deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, neural networks, natural language processing (NLP), and vector databases.
- Tools: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
