Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant AI infrastructure to support high-volume inference and training workloads.
- Model Optimization: Drive research and development into model compression, quantization, and edge deployment strategies.
- System Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize inference on next-gen silicon.
- Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and governance frameworks for AI safety and ethics.
- Mentorship: Lead a team of junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Domain Knowledge: Proven track record deploying production-grade NLP or computer vision models.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional teams.
