Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement the core infrastructure for Project 2026, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune large-scale transformer models and optimize inference latency for edge deployment.
- R&D Collaboration: Partner with research scientists to translate theoretical breakthroughs into production-ready code and pipelines.
- System Integration: Integrate multi-modal data streams and implement robust API gateways for third-party integrations.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Performance Tuning: Conduct rigorous benchmarking and profiling to ensure our models meet real-world latency and throughput requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specializing in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Ray, Kubernetes).
- Expertise: Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, LLM fine-tuning, and attention mechanisms.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of optimizing complex systems and handling production-scale data.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
