Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and storyboard high-fidelity 2D motion graphics and animations for web and mobile applications.
- Design and implement seamless 2D UI transitions, micro-interactions, and icon animations using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate closely with UX researchers and product designers to translate complex user flows into intuitive, animated visual languages.
- Optimize animation performance to ensure smooth 60fps playback across all devices and screen sizes.
- Maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability of 2D assets.
- Present creative concepts and iterations to stakeholders, effectively communicating the 'why' behind your design decisions.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in 2D design, motion physics, and interaction patterns.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a 2D Motion Designer or UI Animator in a tech-focused environment.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Figma.
- Strong command of animation principles, including timing, easing, squash and stretch, and anticipation.
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong command of 2D motion, vector graphics, and UI design.
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Principle, ProtoPie) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
- Self-motivated with a passion for creating polished, pixel-perfect visual experiences.
