Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and ensure safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adhere to traffic laws and district transportation policies
- Complete incident reports and maintenance requests
- Assist students with special needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B CDL with Passenger/School Bus endorsement
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Child CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Fingerprint clearance through DOJ/FBI
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
